Hands-On for Tekken 6

I was surprised to see Tekken 6 posters at Quantum. So I rushed in, bought tokens, played Tekken 6 then lost after 3 battles. It’s really hard for me to use the joystick. If only there’s a gamepad in the arcade machine.

The Tekken 6 arcade is impressive. The LCD is wide and sharp. The joystick is solid, although not to my liking. The sounds are great which manage to drown out the trying-hard wannabe singers in the background.

The backgrounds are unbelievably crisp, the characters’ moves are solid and the gameplay is classic Tekken. Too bad that it would be a long time before I’ll be able to play this at home since the PS3 is still way too expensive.
