November is fast approaching.  I have planned, since last year, to join this year’s NaNoWriMo.  Although I’ve registered and all, I still have doubts.  I’m not sure that I can do it.  I’m not sure if I have the skill and the discipline to write 50,000 words in a month.  I can’t even think of a good plot to write about.  Well, let’s see…

Have you ever wished that you could search all the user feedbacks for a certain product that you want to buy?  Sure you can search for product reviews but nowadays most of the feedbacks by the real users are done via blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc…  So imagine consolidating all those feedbacks for a product that you want to buy then basing your decision on those feedbacks.  I think that would definitely help a consumer make a smart decision.  Well who knows, maybe the next evolution of Google would include search by sentiment.

Last night it was soooo humid.  This morning it was raining soooo hard!!! At noon, it’s now soooo hot!   And this afternoon, the sky is all gloomy again… So what will happen at night, who knows?  The weather has gone crazy!

There’s nothing that could brighten up a face of a Pinoy or Pinay who have been waiting for a long time for an LRT to arrive, than an LRT arriving empty!

I noticed this earlier as I waited for what seems like an eternity for a train to arrive. Everyone was fidgety as they waited. Then out of the horizon a train can be seen.  As the train approaches, everyone notices that the train is empty.  An air of positivity seems to emanate from everyone.  It’s as if a heavy load has been lifted from everyone’s shoulders.  Everyone’s in nirvana…

Until the next station that is.  When the formerly empty train is now like a packed sardine can again!

Been watching a SyFy (formerly Sci-Fi) series, Warehouse 13.  Haven’t completed it yet… but the premise looks cool.  I would give a full review after completing the pilot.

PS: I still think that changing the network’s name from Sci-Fi to SyFy is pretty stupid!

Hey folks, after almost a year of absence, I’m finally back.  Hopefully for good

I’ve been hooked in Facebook lately so I’ve neglected this blog.  So here I am trying to blog my way again…

When I’m swamped with work and my morale is low and when everything is not going right I just go down to Jollibee and order a 2 piece ChickenJoy meal.

ChickenJoy truly gets the chicken skin right! Maybe Jollibee should start selling Crispy ChickenJoy Skins as part of their menu

Well after a helping of the 2 piece meal, my spirits are up. I’m back to normal. And I’m smiling as I go back to work.

That’s what I call, the ChickenJoy Therapy. Works for me

Friday. This day always brings a smile to my face. Such is the effect of Friday to me that at one time, I wished that everyday could be a Friday. Until I realized how stupid that would be. I guess it would be better if days would just be Fridays and Saturdays. That would be cool. With Friday comes the anticipation, then with Saturday the actual non-working day and then back to anticipation and so on and so forth. But of course that would just be the stuff of dreams. We’re currently stuck in a 5-day work week/8 hrs. a day scenario. And whoever designed that scenario must have owned most of the companies on earth or an extremely hardcore workaholic. Well, I’m now ranting so I’ve gotta stop. I don’t want to ruin this moment. This fun, Friday moment. As they say, carpe diem. Friday comes fast. But Monday comes faster.

I’m in McDo eating their oh-so-awesome chicken nuggets and at the same time trying to eat their oh-so-crappy spaghetti.  It got me wishing that I’m eating Jollibee’s spaghetti instead.

Will the day finally come when this could happen?  Imagine ordering from a fictitious deliver company which we shall call, let’s say, The Ultimate Delivery Service, and ordering a 2-pc chicken combo: one ChickenJoy and the other an original KFC chicken.  That would really be the ultimate combo.  Or let’s say, a Champ, McDo fries and a Wendy’s shake.  Or ordering a pizza combo: half of which is Pizza Hut’s Pan Pizza and the other half, a thin crust Shakey’s Pizza.

Just the stuff of dreams, it seems like it.  But you never know…  Now, if only I could finish this spaghetti.

I’ve just finished watching 88 Minutes starring Al Pacino when an epiphany hit me. Al Pacino’s character is named Jack Gramm. Jack? Again? Now I’ve realized that there ARE a lot of Jacks in movies and TV series. So I began to recall them. Here they are. Maybe you could add some more Jacks:
