I knew it! I’ve said it here before on my Nov. 2nd post that Pacquiao will stand victorious and he did! Distractions aside, I knew that Pacquiao will demolish the bigger Margarito and will claim his 8th championship belt in 8 different divisions.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MANNY “PACMAN” PACQUIAO!!!
Say what they want about Pacquiao being slower or Pacquiao being out of shape due to so many distractions, etc., etc… I believe that on fight day, Pacquiao will still stand victorious and will add another belt to his ever-growing list of championships!
If you are a true fan, do watch Pacquiao-Margarito 24/7 on HBO. Two more episodes until fight day…
As expected, Manny Pacquiao destroyed Joshua Clottey who had been reduced to a human punching bag early on. Pacquiao was announced the champion after 12 rounds of boxing which some found a little lackluster due to the hesitation (out of fear perhaps?) of Clottey. It may not be THE event that everyone was waiting for, but it sure was a great victory for our very own Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao!
Check out this great profile about our very own Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao in GQ:
What do you get when you cross Muhammad Ali, Sly Stallone, Vaclav Havel, Michael Vick, Che Guevara, & Clay Aiken? Manny Pacquiao — Andrew Corsello, GQ.com
After reading this, I couldn’t help but feel more excited about the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Clottey bout this Sunday!!!
The anticipation for the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight is surely building up as evidenced by all the boxing fans lining up to see the Pacman train for his fight. Among these fans are Hollywood stars dropping by to meet-up with the pound-for-pound king. Yesterday, Jean Claude Van Damme visited Pacquiao at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood. Pacquiao invited JCVD to watch his upcoming bout with Clottey.
